Worship
Worship happens all across West Suffolk Vineyard Church, and we deliberately devote time to it during our Sunday celebrations, kinships and pretty much any other event.
The purpose of worship is to celebrate what God has done for us and declare our love for him, reaching a place of intimacy with him.
We use contemporary music to lead us into worship, but the focus is on Jesus – we want to celebrate who he is and what he has done; he chooses to meet with and speak to us when we do this.

We in the Vineyard have, from the very outset of our ministry, made worship our highest priority. Believing that it is God’s desire that we become, first, worshippers of God

Our Values
When it comes to worship in the Vineyard, there are a few main ideas that truly value. These underpin our approach to worship, both in the way we conduct our everyday lives, and also in the expression of our worship through the writing, recording and singing songs.
Intimacy | Accessibility | Integrity | Kingdom Expectation | Passion |
Intimacy with God is the prime destination for us as we worship. We draw near to God, he draws near to us, and we connect more and more deeply with him as we do this. | We want worship to be accessible to everyone, with as few barriers as possible for people wanting to worship God. We aim to create an environment that is comfortable and easy for everyone. | When we worship, we enter God's presence just as we are, not as we think we should be. And yet, God's power brings transformation - during worship we are renewed and made more like Jesus. | As we worship, we are welcoming in both God and his kingdom. As we worship, we culture and expectation that God will move, speak, heal, deliver and perform miracles among us. | Passionate worship is the authentic expression of the fire in our hearts for God. As we express our love to God, we also learn to love what he loves, becoming aware of what he's doing in our community. |

Vineyard Worship
West Suffolk Vineyard Church is part of a wider Vineyard movement, with other Vineyard churches all across the world. Worship is one of our highest priorities in the Vineyard movement, and a central part of our DNA.
Vineyard Worship, our national organisation overseeing worship across the Vineyard, aims to train worship leaders, equip the church and capture the songs that emerge from within our movement. If you’d like to find out more, or if you’re a worship leader looking for resources, please visit the Vineyard Churches and Vineyard Worship websites.
